OVERVIEW
Non-surgical Rhinoplasty is a treatment to correct the shape of the nose using dermal fillers. A variety of noses can be treated, the most common being a ‘hook’ nose or a bump on the bridge, injections of dermal fillers will smooth, lift and straighten the nose to improve the look. It is a popular treatment with patients that would prefer not to have surgery.
+ Does it work for every nose?
Not necessarily, you will be assessed during your consultation to see if you are suitable for the treatment and to ensure that you will get the desired results.
+ Will I need to take time off?
We do advise booking your treatment at a time where you can have some downtime. The area can be fairly bruised and swollen post treatment, we recommend taking arnica tablets for a few days before and after the procedure.
+ What is involved in the treatment?
Prior to the procedure a topical anaesthetic is applied to the area, once that has started to take effect the treatment will begin. There are various points on the nose that are injected which is tailored to your individual needs. The dermal filler contains anaesthetic so there is a very mild discomfort if any. You will see the results immediately. Bruising may start to appear and can last a few days.
+ What happens if I don’t like the results?
It is unlikely that you will not be happy with the results as the no -surgical Rhinoplasty is a popular treatment. However, if you are not happy with the look of your new now the dermal filler can be broken down and reversed using an antedote Injection of hyalase.
